What I like about my job

I have been in the IP sector over 43 years starting as an EPO Patent Examiner and then in-house IP manager before deciding to qualify Patent Attorney.

I love the variety of experiences.  Over the years I have worked both in private practice and in-house, as a patent attorney and IP management consultant and in large companies, such as Nokia Mobile Phones to, more recently, a tech start-up in Manchester. 

In my spare time..

I am a member of Council and Chair of the Education Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys which takes up a lot of my spare time, but I love dancing and like to try out different dance classes to keep fit.

What I am looking forward to…

Having recently moved down to Cambridgeshire from Cheshire, I am looking forward to getting involved in village life and making new friends.
